Climate Resilience Coordinator Position Announcement
Frequently Asked Questions
Questions and responses as of Thursday, July 24, 2025
1. Is the Climate Resilience Coordinator expected to live on the Blue Hill Peninsula?
Response: No. The Climate Resilience Coordinator will be expected to perform tasks in a time, place and manner that optimize positive results.
Those methods include in-person meetings and cloud-based video/audio conferencing (Zoom, TEAMS, etc.).
All monthly meetings, on the third Friday of the month, from 9:00-10:00 a.m., are conducted via Zoom. Attending Select Board meetings from in person — from time-to-time — enhances opportunities for information sharing, collaboration and follow-through.
Blue Hill Peninsula Tomorrow is seeking a candidate who has demonstrated experience and expertise in maximizing success through in-person and non-in-person collaboration.
2. Regarding the Sample Post-Meeting Work Plan included in the announcement, are the follow-up tasks developed solely by the Climate Resilience Coordinator, or is this done in conjunction with other Co-Coordinators?
Response: Follow-up tasks are done in conjunction with the co-coordinators.
